Paterson) - I'll ride you for the first fifty miles, and then you ride me for the next fifty miles. - At least I'll be able to eat the donkey. - The donkey's refusing to move Frank, so you can take as many photos as you like. - They call me the donkey, but you're the one who was reading the map. The trooper mounted on a clearly irritated donkey, with the bit pulled far back, just doesn't match our image of an Australian trooper at all. The trooper and donkey are otherwise well out fitted with Light Horse equipments, so I've almost wondered if the photo was intended as a joke.
