Lauren - your reading was amazing - well done! The rest of you; your wreath-giving was fantastic (that was such a highlight for me last year, and I'm sure it was for you too). You all did an awesome job. I have to say, it did look a lot less windy than I remember; we all had to wear our giant jackets so we didn't freeze to death! I went to our local service at North Beach this morning, and I have to say, I really had a much much much greater appreciation of the day than I ever have had before. Soak it all up guys, because the memories are things you will never want to let go of; the more experiences and memories you can cram in the better!! Also, make sure you do stay in contact when you get back; our group still talks regularly (with the exception of one person who seems to have gone missing - but we'll find him!) . It's not often that you find such a great group of people as Simpson Prize winners and you wont want to lose them! So quick! Swap e-mails, addresses, phone numbers, msn, skype, facebook, myspace - the whole lot! Keep having a great time!! Kayla Hi everybody :)

It was very moving and wonderful to see the Turkish people involved. A really moving demonstration of reconciliation and peace. The sound of the waves during the two minute silence was also special. You are all priviliged to have been there. We didn't receive the Lone Pine service telecast here in Darwin. Did anyone record it? If so, we would love a copy. Great job with the radio interview Erin.
