'Anzac Headquarters, Gallipoli' By Horace Moore-Jones 'Anzac Headquarters, Gallipoli' By Horace Moore-Jones ART03264

‘One of our aeroplanes flew over this morning. A Monitor fired over our heads at some target away inland from a position off Imbros this afternoon, a sea plane was directing her fire. At about 6pm the enemy guns from the direction of Kaba Tepe shelled the artillery positions along the top of McCoys hill right opposite our camp, they shelled them very heavily with high explosive.’
