Attack by 4th Australian Infantry Brigade at Bloody Angle, Anzac May 1915
Description
Soldiers attacking up a ridge with considerable shellfire on top of the ridge. Other soldiers lying in a trench injured, with dead soldiers in the foreground. Bloody Angle was located between Pope's Hill and Quinn's Post on the Gallipoli Peninsula. It was in this location that John Simpson Kirkpatrick was fatally wounded in May 1915.
