'Surrey Farm' Le Touquet June 1917
Description
The war damaged buildings of 'Surrey Farm' near Le Touquet set in a rural landscape. There is a small pond in the foreground. This area was used as the Headquarters for 43 Battalion. Major Edwin Summerhayes, originally an architect in Perth, Western Australia, served with 44 Battalion on the Western Front.
