Description

A boat or float that appeared at a water carnival held on the Suez Canal by the 4th Australian Division. On the side facing the camera is painted the slogan, 'We have plenty of time to have our sports & beat the Germans too.' Above it are the words, 'Are we downhearted No'. To the left is a sign reading 'Washing done here', behind which is a chimney and fireplace. The vessel also features two rough paddle wheels and a 'bridge' with a steering wheel. Its name is obscured.
