Studio portrait of 2125 Private (Pte) Archibald Calman, 4th Reinforcements, 22nd Battalion, of Essendon, Vic. Pte Calman enlisted on 2 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Hororata on 27 September 1915. He returned to Australia on 17 March 1919 with the 2nd Pioneer Battalion.
