Exiting an armoured personnel carrier (APC), surrounded by fellow soldiers is a wounded digger who received minor head injuries when the force of a mine exploding under the tracks of the APC threw him against the roof. He was injured during Operation Capital, a reconnaissance in force in the Thau Tich area, north-east of Nui Dat. Trooper Robert English of Nelsons Bay, NSW, sits on top of the APC at left.
