Description
Nominal roll of Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force to New Guinea, 1914-18. Nominal Roll consists of regimental number, rank, full name, birthplace, place and date of enlistment, date of embarkation. Discharge, termination of appointment, death, transfer details and date are also shown.
This item has a cardboard front and back covers that appears to have been added at some point after initial creation of the roll. The writing and a palm tree motive on the front cover also appear to have been added at a later date. The palm tree may make reference to the fact the AN&MEF was sometimes referred to as the Tropical Force.
