| Description | The original grave marker of 22514 Driver (Dvr) George Gibson Grose, 10th Brigade Australian Field Artillery, in the Vignacourt cemetery. Dvr Grose, a repairer from Buckrabanyule, Vic, embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Medic (A7) on 20 May 1916. He died of wounds on 11 August 1918, aged 30. From the Thuillier collection of glass plate negatives. Taken by Louis and Antoinette Thuillier in Vignacourt, France during the period 1916 to 1918. |
