| Description | Original grave marker of 12210 Gunner (Gnr) Leonard Arthur Marshall, 105th Battery, 5th Brigade Australian Field Artillery, in the Vignacourt cemetery. Gnr Marshall, a clerk from Melrose, SA, embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Themistocles (A32) on 28 January 1916. He died of wounds on 17 June 1918, aged 23. From the Thuillier collection of glass plate negatives. Taken by Louis and Antoinette Thuillier in Vignacourt, France during the period 1916 to 1918. |
