| Description | Original grave marker of Lieutenant (Lt) Bertram Thomas Kell, 28th Battalion. Lt Kell, an ironworker from North Fremantle, WA, embarked from Fremantle aboard HMAT Suevic on 6 June 1916. He died on 8 August 1918 from wounds received at Villers Bretonneaux, aged 23. (See H12878 for portrait) From the Thuillier collection of glass plate negatives. Taken by Louis and Antoinette Thuillier in Vignacourt, France during the period 1916 to 1918. |
