DescriptionPortrait of 3982 Private (Pte) Thomas Bernhardt Wilson, a signaller of the 5th Battalion. In March 1918, Pte Wilson was awarded a military medal for his invaluable efforts as a signaller and runner during operations at Ypres in September of 1917. He returned to Australia on 20 May 1919. (See also P10550.689)

Vignacourt team says:

Hi Annie, we haven't been able to find much about him after the war. From Ancestry.com it looks like he lived in Carlton, died 1964 aged 73
