| Description | Portrait of 3982 Private (Pte) Thomas Bernhardt Wilson, a signaller of the 5th Battalion. In March 1918, Pte Wilson was awarded a military medal for his invaluable efforts as a signaller and runner during operations at Ypres in September of 1917. He returned to Australia on 20 May 1919. Hi Annie, we haven't been able to find much about him after the war. From Ancestry.com it looks like he lived in Carlton, died 1964 aged 73
