Bookings are essential for all school groups visiting the Memorial.

All school bookings are made online . You can view an online diary to request the best time for your visit. We will check the details of your booking and ask for your confirmation by return email. There is online help to make it as quick and easy as possible.

Cancellation policy

Once a booking has been lodged for an education program, it is your responsibility to make sure that you seek out the booking confirmation sent to you. The Memorial is not responsible for checking that you have received it.

It is also your responsibility to notify the Memorial’s Booking Officer in writing of changes or a cancellation of your booking. Cancellations should be made no less than 5 working days prior to your scheduled visit. Cancellations received after this will require full payment as the Memorial has paid to engage staff to fulfil your booked program. 

Changes to Bookings Policy

Tour operators and schools should note that bookings are not transferable (ie. there can be no change of a school name for a booking once the booking has been made). Should a booking require a change of school name, the booking must be cancelled and then rebooked using the online system.
