Commemoration: remembering those who served

This section provides information on when, why, and how we commemorate Australians who have suffered or died in war.

Australians at war

Australians at war provides an overview of every conflict  in which Australia has been involved. The section includes links to information about military structure, ranks, and statistics, as well as month by month accounts of significant events in Australia's military history.

Databases

The Memorial's online databases are divided into two main sections: Collection databases, which contains information about and links to the Memorial's National Collection, and Biographical databases, based on biographical information held in the Memorial's Research Centre collections. The databases provide a wealth of information about Australians at war.
