Objective:
To enable students to have a better understanding of Australia’s involvement in the Pacific conflict and its broader social impact.
The program:
Explore the threat to Australia during the Second World War. The focus of this program is the Japanese advance, the defence of Australia, and the campaigns to Australia’s north during the Second World War. Students discuss and examine the social and political effects of the fall of Singapore, the attacks on Australia, new alliances, and the fight to hold New Guinea.
Price: $5.50 per student, minimum charge $60.50 (incl. GST)
Duration: 1 hour
Maximum number: 45 students per hour
