Flying high for Australia: a spy mission

Objective:
To enable students to observe, record and analyse aircraft on exhibition and to develop a better understanding of the basic concepts associated with flight.
The program:
Students engage in a spy mission to identify a plane, crash-landed in Aircraft Hall, recording scientific observations about individual planes. Their findings are examined in a debriefing session that gives students an understanding of the principles of flight, and an insight into the experiences of ground crew and pilots in the Second World War and the Korean War.
Price: $5.50 per student, minimum charge $60.50 (incl. GST)
Duration: 1 hour
Maximum number: 30 students per hour
Available: Daily 9.00 am – 3.30 pm
