Objective:

Students will explore how poetry can contribute to our understanding of the experience of war.

The program:

What extra dimension can poetry add to our understanding of what really happens during time of war? Gallery exhibits provide the context for poetry readings that explore the Australian experience of war and its aftermath.

This program concentrates on the First World War but can be adapted to look at other conflicts.

Price: $5.50 per student, minimum charge $60.50 (incl. GST)

Duration: 1 hour

Maximum number: 45 students per hour
