Damien Thomlinson, Without warning: an extraordinary soldier’s journey
On night patrol in Afghanistan, DamienThomlinson’s vehicle drove over an IED and there was a massive blast.  By all medical accounts, he should have been dead.  His right leg turned instantly to red mist and his left leg was severed below the knee. His arms and hands were shattered and his nose smashed. Blood poured into his lungs. He was as close to death as you can get. But, miraculously, he survived. Hear this Special Forces soldier talk about his new book, Without warning: an extraordinary soldier’s journey, and his extraordinary willpower not just to survive, but to meet life head on.

Without warning will be on sale after the talk, and the author will be personally signing copies.
