Conferences and seminars
One of the Australian War Memorial's aims is to disseminate knowledge and understanding of Australia's military history. In keeping with this we hold seminars and conferences dealing with a broad range of topics relating to the field.
2008 international conference: 1918 Year of Victory
The Memorial is hosting an international history conference to mark the 90th anniversary of the end of the Great War. Outstanding First World War scholars from various nations will present their latest research findings and discuss issues surrounding the end of the Great War, its memory and enduring impact.
