To mark the 70th Anniversary of the formation of the Australian Women’s Land Army, and in recognition of the women who joined the Australian Women's Land Army during the Second World War, the Memorial is screening Thanks girls and goodbye. 

A fascinating documentary about the land girls – women who worked on farms in Australia during the Second World War – the film looks beyond women and work to broader questions about war, and relationships between people in wartime.
