National Servicemen’s Association ACT Branch Wreathlaying Ceremony.

This ceremony is held to recognise the sacrifice and service of National Servicemen and honours the memory of those who died. Between 1951 and 1972, over 290,000 young men were called up for National Service and underwent compulsory training in the Navy, Army and Air Force. National Servicemen served in Borneo, Vietnam, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea and Australia.
