Education Material

Forging the nation, the travelling exhibition, offers rich and exciting learning opportunities for all students. It explores the many aspects of Australia's early history and brings it to life with outstanding objects, artworks, images and film footage.

The exhibition provides an ideal link to the National Statements and Profiles. It allows students to investigate and communicate their findings. It looks at a passage of time in the early part of the 20th century when our young nation was forging its identity.

The education material on this website consists of an education package containing pre-visit and visit activities plus teacher's notes, and a page of post-visit activities and discussion topics.
