The Eastern Precinct Development
Construction
Construction works associated with the redevelopment of the Eastern Precinct began in late April 2009. Builders, PBS Building (ACT) Pty Ltd, have been engaged to undertake the works.
The Memorial will remain open during the construction period and public parking (off Treloar Crescent, adjacent to the Sculpture Garden and the C.E.W. Bean Building) also remains open. The café in the grounds will close during the construction period however, the café in ANZAC Hall will continue to operate. Visitors should also be aware that toilet facilities will only be available during opening hours (10 am – 5pm).
