Sherman 'Crab' tank

Used in the 1944 Normandy landings, the Sherman "Crab" tank was designed to clear mines and barbed wire in advance of the infantry. A rotating drum with lengths of chain would clear the ground ahead of the tank and create a path for infantry to follow. This 1:76 scale plastic model kit has a finished length of 120 mm and a height of 48 mm. Suitable for modellers aged 8 and up.
