In a series of diaries Rowley Richards recorded the everyday brutality of the Prisoner of war camps and also the courage, humour and mateship of this comrades. Just before being transferred to prison in Japan, he buried a summary of his contraband writings. Astonishingly it was returned to him intact. Soft cover, photographs, 348 pages.
