Nurse bookmark (Hall of Memory)

Exclusive to the Australian War Memorial

This beautiful and distinctive bookmark depicts a First World War nurse, as seen in the Hall of Memory's south window. This figure represents the personal quality of devotion. Designed by A Skulk of Foxes in Geelong, this limited edition bookmark was commissioned by the Australian War Memorial to accompany the current exhibition Nurses: from Zululand to Afghanistan.

Cut from metal and with enamel colouring, each bookmark measures 10 cm and includes a red sash and a backing image of the original stained-glass panel.
