Letters about ANZAC Day
Sheila Duke
This three level beginner reader provides two very personal and different accounts of the beginnings of ANZAC Day. The first story is told by Joe, an Australian soldier fighting at Gallipoli during the First World War, who writes about his experiences to his son, Jack. The second is a modern day account of ANZAC Day and is told by John, the great grandson of Joe. After finding his great grandfather's war medals in a box, John decides to pay tribute to him by writing him a letter.
Soft cover, illustrated, 77 pages.
