The Grumman S-2 Tracker entered active service in the mid-1950s and was designed to meet the need for an aircraft capable of long-range maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare. The aircraft had two Wright R-1820 radial engines with a range of over 2,000 kilometres, while its cargo bay and under-wing pylons could carry a range of weapons, including torpedoes and naval mines. This kit includes decals for 816 Squadron, Nowra (HMAS Albatross), 1975.
