S.E.5a (RAF)

1:72 scale plastic model kit

The Memorial's permanent exhibition Over the front: the Great War in the air features five beautifully restored aircraft, including an SE5a fighter. Fast, rugged, and easy to fly, the SE5 first entered service in April 1917 and became one of the most successful British fighters of the First World War. This 1:72 scale plastic model kit builds an SE5a as flown by Major Edward 'Mick' Mannock in Northern France, July 1918. Suitable for modellers aged 14 and up.
