Another feature of the Vietnam gallery is a gun from Fire Support Base Coral.
This gun is a 105mm M2A2 howitzer used by 102 Field Battery, 12th Field Regiment. On the night of 12 May 1968, it was captured by North Vietnamese troops who temporarily overran part of the base. The gun was recaptured shortly afterwards.
