Geelong Anzac honoured at Australian War Memorial
The Australian War Memorial in Canberra will be commemorating the service and sacrifice of former Geelong resident, Lieutenant Colonel John Charles Robertson at the Last Post Ceremony on Saturday 29 June. Robertson served in both the First and Second World Wars.

A versatile ship: HMAS Adelaide's service during the Second World War
The light cruiser HMAS Adelaide had seen service by the start of the Second World War. Built at the end of the First World War, it had been re-fitted and updated several times, as well as participating in policing actions in the British Solomon Islands Protectorate, and trans-Tasman exercises with New Zealand.

Art in Conflict
Art in Conflict is a new touring exhibition of contemporary art from the collection of the Australian War Memorial. A showcase of diverse responses to war, the exhibition includes more than seventy paintings, drawings, films, prints, photography and sculptures. Leading Australian artists are represented, such as Khadim Ali, Rushdi Anwar, eX de Medici, Denise Green, Richard Lewer, Mike Parr, Ben Quilty, Tony Albert, Paddy Bedford, Robert Campbell Jr, Michael Cook, Shirley Macnamara and Betty Muffler.
