Cast copper alloy whistle of standard tubular pattern with an integral suspension loop.
History / Summary
Associated with the service of 439867 Flight Sergeant John Campbell, who enlisted in August 1943 and after training as a wireless operator, converted to B-24 Liberators and served with 99 Squadron. The whistle is of the pattern issued to National Emergency and Air Raid Wardens in Australia during 1939-1945.
