    Day 8 and9 - Gallipoli, Anzac Day One thing I can never forget about the day we attended the Anzac Dawn Service is the complete serenity that engulfed the whole peninsula, harshly contrasted with the events that had occurred there 100 years ago.     Day 6 We started off the day by visiting the twelve tree copse cemetry, where Lucy's ancestor was buried. It was raining at the beginning but the sky soon cleared up and it was a pleasant day to have a look around. After laying a poppy and a bush of rosemary, we visited the V Beach, where the British had landed on 25 April.     Simpson Prize 2015 - Gallipoli

    Day 4 - Istanbul to Gallipoli We started off our journey to Gallipoli with a crisp cool morning. At exactly 7am we set off for a four hour drive. During the bus ride we enjoyed listening to everyone's out of tune sing along to 'Frozen', 'Riptide' and many other songs. Luckily during this bus ride we were able to stop for breaks.
