Please note:
In line with current Government advice, anyone seeking to conduct an event or ceremony at the Memorial is required to provide a COVID Safe event plan.
Due to the fulsome commemorative program at the Memorial, requests to conduct events or ceremonies are to be submitted for consideration and approval by the Memorial’s Corporate Management Group.
Additional requests are not scheduled during the Memorial’s busy periods in the weeks prior to Anzac Day (25 April) and Remembrance Day (11 November) due to the coordination of the national commemorations.
It is recommended that requests are submitted six to twelve months prior to the preferred date, so that it can be considered, and the date secured if approved.
Groups or Associations who hold annual activities still need to submit a request.
In addition to a COVID Safe plan, the Memorial may also require documentation including copies of public liability insurance, a risk management plan and related WHS forms.
