Informal portrait of 400213 Squadron Leader (Sqn Ldr) Keith William (Bluey) Truscott (left) and Adjutant of 76 Squadron 03356 Thomas George Janes, shortly after the unsuccessful Japanese attack on Milne Bay. Sqn Ldr Truscott a fighter pilot has recently returned to Australia after serving with 452 squadron in England. Sqn Ldr Truscott who was awarded DFC and bar was accidentially killed on 28 March 1943 aged 26 years.
