New Britain. This wrecked Japanese Zeke Zero fighter aircraft found by a reconnaissance patrol on Gasmata airstrip was labelled 'out of bounds to all troops by order of Commanding General Allied Air Forces' to discourage souvenir hunters amongst our troops who later occupied Gasmata.
