Description

Members of the guerillas being interviewed by a Dutch official. For two years a band of Dutch and Indonesian guerillas fought the Japanese in Dutch New Guinea, enduring indescribable privations, raiding, pillaging, exploding munition dumps, and killing thirty Japanese. With them was the wife of a Javanese official (since captured) and her niece who has now been rescued. Money from a wooden box with Japanese characters on the top is passed among the group.
