September 1945. Lieutenant Daisy (Tootie) Keast of Junee, NSW, an Army nurse who was captured at Rabaul, enjoying canned pork and apple sauce, the first she had tasted in four years. She was one of a group of seventeen nurses taken prisoner at Rabaul early in 1942. She is watched by the other rescued nurses.
