Appproximately 15,400 troops, British and Australian, were moved into Selarang Barrack Square, Changi, as a reprisal for refusing to sign a Non escape or Parole Declaration. This movement was known as the Barrack Square Incident. Shown are, troops from the general Changi area moving into the square.
