Port Moresby, New Guinea. August 1942. No. 75 Squadron RAAF was relieved by two United States Airacobra fighter squadrons from the US 35th Fighter Group. Here a US pilot looks over his new "home", after the group flew in from Australia. Note the number 174 and the illustration on the side of the aeroplane.
