History / Summary

Biographical note: Labourer of Enmore, NSW, joined AIF 6 December 1915, wounded 9 June 1917, 17 April 1918 (gas) and 30 September 1918. Discharged at Sydney 1 July 1919. VC awarded for conspicuous bravery on last day of August during the attack on Rood Wood, near Peronne.
