Biographical note: Lieutenant Robert Clive Hunter, 2 Battalion AIF. Solicitor; of Forbes, NSW; born Wandary Station, Forbes; educated at Cooerwell Academy, Bowenfels, NSW; joined the AIF on 27 April 1915 as a Private; served with the 12th Light Horse Regiment as a Sergeant until the evacuation of Gallipoli, when he transferred to the 2nd Battalion as an officer; killed in action in the Fleurbaix sector, 13 June 1916, aged 24.
