Manifold, Courtenay Clarke (Major General, b.1864 - d.1957)
Description
Collection relating to the service of Colonel (later Major General) Courtenay Clarke Manifold, Indian Medical Services, Egypt, 1915. Collection consists of a diary kept by Colonel Manifold while on active service in Egypt, from 6 June 1915 to 12 December 1915, and three copies of the diary in various formats. Collection also contains a file of letters written by Colonel Manifold to Major General Sir Richard Ford, expressing dissatisfaction with administration and duties.
