Son of William and Elizabeth Murray, of Warracknabeal, Victoria, Australia. Other biographical details concerning him are: Driver, of Warracknabeal, Victoria; born Warracknabeal, educated at Warracknabeal State School, became a bank clerk and later studied electrical engineering; served on the Citizen Forces; joined the AIF on 8 October 1914; was wounded at Anzac; killed in action at Heburterne, France. Aged 23.|
