Collection relating to the service of Lieutenant Edwin William Pennell, DCM, MM and bar, 4 Division Signal Company, AIF, Australia and Gallipoli, 1914-1915. Collection consists of two letters written by Private [later Lieutenant] Pennell to friends in Australia. The collection is notable for his first-hand account of the Landing at Anzac Cove, 25 April, 1915.
