Collection relating to the service of 3728A Signaller Norman Verschuer Wallace, 48 Battalion, AIF, England, Western Front, 1917-1919. Collection consists of a narrative-style diary in which Wallace describes his excursions in the Wiltshire countryside; a letter from Wallace to his parents, written in October 1917; eight typescript excerpts from letters written by Wallace (probably intended for publication in a newspaper); three newspaper cuttings featuring letters from Wallace.
