History / Summary

Elliott's papers were transferred to the Memorial in a number of instalments between 1929 and 1971 by his wife Catherine and daughter Violet. The donations were amalgamated into four collections, 1DRL/0264, 2DRL/0513, 3DRL/3297 and 3DRL/3856. At the time of donation some documents were removed from the Elliott papers and, in keeping with the practice of the time, incorporated into the Memorial's existing published and official records collections. The material previously held in collections 1DRL/0264, 3DRL/3297 and 3DRL/3856, were incorporated into 2DRL/0513 in 2004 and 2005.
