Description
Collection related to the First World War service of 2871 Sergeant (later Warrant Officer Class I) Harold "Harry" Preston. File includes lecture notes on gunnery from School of Musketry, Tidworth, 1918, as well as memoirs from Preston's time spent in France at Pozieres, Mouquet Farm, Ypres, Lagnicourt and Marseilles. The collection also includes various cartoons, Preston's demobilization card, a leave pass, and a certificate from the School of Musketry.
