Collection relating to the First World War service of Major General Newton J Moore. Moore commanded Australian & New Zealand Base Depots, Weymouth, 1915; and GOC AIF Depots in the United Kingdom, 1915-1917. Collection consists of:
1. A report: Portland Command. Australian and New Zealand Base Depot, Monte Video Camp, Weymouth.
2. Extracts from letters received by Moore relating to his promotion.
3. Report by Moore on the administration of the Australian Imperial Force Depots in United Kingdom, 1916-1919.
